The forums are free and open to all and are the place to come to get help, advice and support on the educational and parenting issues that affect you. Thousands of parents have already signed up and are already talking about everything from toddler tantrums to problems settling in at school, from home education to SATs to last night’s TV!
If you can't wait to join in the chat, click here to have a look at what's being talked about right now. The advantage of the new MyChild forums is that parents now have a friendly, welcoming community to drop in to where you can kick your shoes off, relax, let off steam, join a heated debate, have a laugh, share your experiences with other parents, or just have some time out and some fun in the games section.
Whatever your children's ages, whatever walk of life you’re from, and whatever your amount of experience, you’ll be made very welcome. The MyChild team has purposely set up this forum up to give parents like you a friendly, open place to chat. We know that web forums can be intimidating places. The MyChild forum is nothing like that.
The forum is overseen by Michael, the Community Manager who will be online to answer any questions that you may have about the forum. There’s also a welcoming and friendly team of moderators (Polly, Beth, Janey, Barefootgirl, Ursh and Corris) as well as Amy, MyChild’s editor, who will all be happy to help you to find your way around.
A good starting point is the 'Welcome to the forum area' where you can sign in, say hello and introduce yourself. Click here to get started.
